About
The Full Story
I was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and grew up between Dubai, UAE, and Chennai, India — a multicultural, international upbringing that shaped my curiosity and passion for diverse storytelling. Surrounded by so many cultures and perspectives, I was drawn to spaces where creativity thrives and stories connect people across backgrounds.

At 18, I moved to the United States to pursue my dream of working in film, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema Arts & Science with a focus on Producing and Management from Columbia College Chicago. Soon after, I took a leap of faith and moved to Los Angeles to build a career in the heart of creativity. Just a month later, the pandemic shut everything down, and I lost the internship I had been counting on. Heartbroken, I returned to Malaysia, unsure if my journey in Los Angeles had ended.
But when my visa extension was approved, I decided to take another chance and return to the States. Not long after, I landed a role on FX’s Snowfall, which became the true beginning of my professional journey. Since then, I’ve built experience across both independent projects and large-scale productions, working as a producer and production coordinator on short films, music videos, and live shows. My time on set and in production offices has taught me how to balance creativity with logistics, adapt quickly under pressure, and lead with collaboration.
Today, I continue to pursue projects that excite me — from independent films with unique voices to dynamic music videos — with the same drive and resilience that carried me from Malaysia to Los Angeles.
